1 Introduction

The F13m Ultra-Wideband Portable Drone Detection Device adopts high-sensitivity, high-bandwidth RF receiving technology and incorporates a comprehensive drone signature database. It is capable of detecting more than 100 types of drones across the ultra-wide frequency range of 300 MHz–13.4 GHz. Under typical full-power transmission and open-area line-of-sight conditions, the maximum detection range can reach up to 5 km.

The device outputs full-band spectrum information in real time and supports OTA (Over-the-Air) upgrades via Type-C and Bluetooth, enabling the continuous expansion and enhancement of the drone signature database.

2 Key Features

2.1 Full-Spectrum Precision Detection:

The device covers a detection frequency range of 300MHz–13.4 GHz and supports full-band scanning and detection with a minimum frequency step of 1 MHz, providing ultra-wideband full-spectrum coverage. It supports real-time full-spectrum situational awareness output and simultaneously displays key parameters such as drone type, frequency, and signal strength.

2.2 Diverse Signal Types and Extensive Drone Model Coverage:

The device supports detection of signals from a wide range of drone brands and models, including DJI, Autel, FIMI, Hubsan, Yunzhuo, and others, as well as analog video transmission FPV drones and digital video transmission FPV drones, including Walksnail, HDZero, Artosyn ArtLynk series – BetaFPV P1, Antigravity A1, OpenIPC, etc. Other supported brands and models include PowerVision, Parrot, Yuneec, 3DR, GDU, Xiaomi, ZLL, Syma, SJRC, Skydio, Walkera, SwellPro, and others.

2.3 Long Detection Range:

The device provides a detection sensitivity of up to -101 dBm (for 20 MHz-bandwidth OFDM digital video transmission signals; other signal types may vary). Under typical conditions with a 5 W analog video transmission FPV drone and an open-area line-of-sight environment, the maximum detection range can reach up to 5 km.

2.4 RID Function:

Supports reception of RID information via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, including China’s GB 46750-2025, the U.S. ASTM F3411-22a, and the EU ASD-STAN prEN 4709-002 standards.

2.5 Jammer Integration:

Through the device’s external interface, the device can be quickly integrated with a backpack-mounted countermeasure device to establish a long-range integrated “detection – countermeasure" operational system, significantly improving operational efficiency and airspace management capabilities.

2.6 IP54 Water and Dust Protection:

The device complies with the international IP54 protection rating and effectively protects against splashing water and dust ingress, ensuring reliable operation in complex and harsh outdoor environments and supporting a variety of outdoor operational scenarios.

2.7 Long-Lasting Battery Life:

Equipped with a replaceable high-performance lithium-ion battery and a low-power design, the device provides a maximum continuous operating time of up to 8 hours, meeting the requirements for long-duration continuous outdoor operations.

2.8 Bluetooth Wireless Data Transmission:

Supports Bluetooth wireless data transmission, enabling various types of data collected during monitoring to be transmitted in real time to associated terminal devices (including the companion app/host computer; supported platforms are subject to the software included with the device), enabling remote data viewing and management and improving operational convenience.
