First, radio countermeasure technology usually includes two main interference methods:
- Suppression interference: This method uses electronic pulses or high-power microwaves to cut off the information link between the drone and its ground remote control source, and interferes with its GPS navigation module, forcing the drone to lose control and return or land.
- Intelligent deception interference: This interference method is more complicated, and it includes GPS deception and control command deception. Secondly, in actual operation, the radio detection system receives electromagnetic waves in the air and detects whether there is a communication signal between the rotor drone and the remote control to determine whether there is a target in the defense zone.
This system usually consists of a data processing host and multiple antennas of various forms, which can effectively detect and counter.
In addition, the technology to counter drones also includes other methods such as direct destruction and monitoring and control.
- Direct destruction technologies such as using bullets, laser weapons, missiles or drones to counter drones directly destroy the target drone.
- Monitoring and control technologies mainly control drones by hijacking radio control signals.
